Title: RE: [jdjlist] Re: Reliable TCP/IP stream reading

Oh-ho, now we got indian AND b**** in the same sentence?
:-)

Idly wondering how many b****s and f**ks you can find in the good pile of source code, I google for "f**k Linux kernel", which yields this interesting little gem:

Enjoy,

We get the BODs from outside via http and that's not a problem.  However, we
use the BODs from internal programs as well and those make the tcp/ip
connection to our process server.

I have no doubt that the system could be re-engineered and made better.
It's grown way past it's original design as tends to happen in this
industry. :-)

btw the dirty word was when I said dealing with big edian little indian
issue was a b****.  Oh well...

Hm... If you are using http, do you have the content size set in the header?
This is basically an issue on transport layer and I believe that is why the
length of data is not in OAGIS BODs.
