Hello, This is a request to backport a JDK 8 fix into JDK 7u4.
Bug info: CR 7082443 - JComboBox not backward compatible (with Java 6) http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=7082443 Some time ago the fix was prepared, approved and pushed in jdk8: http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk8/awt/jdk/rev/c5c78f293ff8 For 7u4 the fix is the same and doesn't contain any modifications.
