Henrik posted the following regarding this issue on his blog: https://blogs.oracle.com/henrik/entry/moving_to_java_7_as "Update: After posting JRE 7 Update 4 on java.com we have received reports of an installer issue that impacts some Windows configurations. We have reverted back to JRE 6 while we wait for an analysis of this report to complete.
