- The patch is a simple one line fix that is the same as that in jdk 8:

  It was reviewed by Jon Gibbons. The patch has been in the tl forest of JDK 8 
for 1 day.

- testing:
   - ran all the langtools/regression tests on windows
   - nightly tests run and passed
