Today, Oracle announced that they are adjusting their Java roadmap to
accelerate security work in upcoming releases. In particular, many
non-security fixes previously scheduled for 7u10 are being re-targeted to 7u12.
Oracle will be talking about Java security at JavaOne, if you're there please
try and attend, CON12803 - Making the Future Secure with Java.

This means we will not be creating a 7u10 stabilization forest as previously
noted, and instead keeping development going on jdk7u-dev. We will create a
branch for 7u12 when it's ready for stabilization. As always with CPUs, we
plan to bulk integrate the changes from the October and February CPUs (7u9 and
7u11, respectively) when released. We don't expect Oracle JDK 7u10 to contain
new changesets applicable to OpenJDK 7u10 source code repositories. Instead,
we expect the bulk of work on Oracle JDK 7u10 to be focused on changes to code
that is not part of OpenJDK 7u Project.

If you have questions or concerns, please share them on the jdk7u-dev mailing
list.

cheers,
