Can you give an example of this? As I understand it, if you have an embedded
field of type java.awt.Color you would map it to four columns each of which has
a field name, e.g. field r, field g, field b, field a. So you only need one
column per field in this case.
But there are other cases where it is useful to map a field to multiple columns.
