1. Support for streams https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-625. Resources are an issue since the RI doesn't currently support streaming blobs or clobs. Looks like this feature would be an optional feature; first thing to do is to remove InputStream and Reader from the list of proscribed java interfaces as persistent field types.

[May 25 2007] AI Matthew Adams prepare a proposal with just the basics of schema synchronization with jdo and orm metadata.
