Still in progress. Plan is to upgrade to a newer version of
DataNucleus and try the tests there. Plan to test all required
properties but not any vendor-specific properties.
3. News on spec update?
Waiting on Oracle to provide a new license.
Might need an update to the get/set properties to call out the case of
the properties.
4. Other issues
Deploying javax.jdo:jdo2-api:2.3-ec to maven central
Looks like there is agreement that we should not provide a maven
central artifact for code that the jdo project did not release.

[Aug 24 2012] AI Craig update the JIRAs JDO-689 JDO-690 and JDO-692
about JDOHelper methods. In process.

[Sep 23 2011] AI Michael document when changing dependencies (to
DataNucleus) it's necessary to rebuild the exectck project before
running tck.
