Greetings all, My name is Greg Chase. Many an eon ago, I used to work for a company called POET Software where I was the product manager and head of marketing for a line of databases known as FastObjects.
One of my last initiatives was to launch a new community known as JDOCentral to drive adoption of the JDO JSR. I never knew what happened to JDO after Oracle had acquired Sun and always wondered. Then I saw Craig Russell join the committers list for Apache Geode (I'm a committer there), and I was scratching my head thinking..."I really know that name from somewhere." Low and behold, remembering Craig helped me find you, the now Apache JDO community again! So I'm baaaack, and maybe we can play together again. And, since I'm a committer to Apache Geode, and the head of the Pivotal GemFire community, perhaps there's some mutual business to be had. Looking forward to catching up! -Greg
