   I think that the `.htaccess` file is no longer necessary as it was only used 
to internally redirect requests to start with 'docs/' to match the structure of 
the repository (because the resources are currently hosted in the 'docs' 
directory) as far as I can tell. With the new setup, the resources will be 
located in the repo root, meaning this URL forwarding is no longer necessary. 
But maybe this also sets 'jdo' as the site base? I am not really sure. Again, 
it would be nice to have somebody that knows the Apache web-hosting back-end to 
have a look at it.
