The test class uses a constructor for the "Q" class with no arguments, which returns a shared object. To be resolved: is there a required static method called "candidate" in the "Q" class in the specification and does it return a new instance or a shared instance? The DataNucleus implementation returns a shared instance if the constructor has no arguments. Specification section 14.10. Actions: create a JIRA for the specification update. Also migrate changes from GitHub branch JDO-836 into a new branch JDO-835. 3.
