I suggest separating the encumbered images into a tar file that you untar in %prep, e.g. xscreensaver-sun-branding-<version>.tar Make sure that the tar file is versioned, in case you need to update it in the future. Then you can submit the tarball using the submit_src_tarball script. BTW, would it be a problem to rename the patches to *.diff to match the rest of the patches in spec-files? Thanks, Laca
