Hi Brian,

Gnome-power-manager relies on several DBus signals and methods to
identify if system is idle, to blank the display and to
hibernate/suspend the system automatically. Currently, most of these is
done by xscreensaver. And hibernating/suspending the system
automatically is not supported.
