Attached please find Python 2.6 bindings files for the following
modules. These are basically copies of the 2.5 bindings files
with pythonver changed from 2.5 to 2.6 and package names changed
to use "26" instead of "25". All of the following are in
spec-files-other except SUNWgst-python26 which is in spec-files.

- SUNWgst-python26.spec
- SUNWlibpigment-python26.spec
- SUNWpython26-cssutils.spec
- SUNWpython26-imaging.spec
- SUNWpython26-simplejson.spec
- SUNWpython26-twisted.spec
- SUNWpython26-twsited-web2.spec
- SUNWpython26-xdg.spec
- SUNWpyyaml26.spec

I also fixed the SUNWpython-notify.spec in spec-files-other
and SUNWpysqlite.spec so there is now a new base-specs file
and a 2.4 and 2.6 package file.

Please review.

The main reason I wanted to do this work was because I'd like to
start testing elisa and codeina with Python 2.6. Elisa should
work better with a newer version of Python since some features
are disabled when using Python 2.4

Since elisa and codeina depend on PyOpenSSL, we'll need to work
with the security team so they provide the 2.6 bindings. In the
meantime, I added a Python 2.6 version of PyOpenSSL to SFE called
SFEpyopenssl26 so that I can proceed with testing.

So now I believe the only Python interfaces missing 2.6 bindings
are the following:

- SUNWcompizconfig-python.spec (Erwann)
- SUNWsexy-python (Erwann)
- SUNWmysql-python (Darren)
- SUNWPython-extra (Laca)

Note Elisa depends on SUNWPython-extra. Laca, any idea when the
2.6 bindings packages for this module will be available?

Some issues and concerns:

- In spec-files-other we deliver SUNWlibpigment-python24,
   SUNWpython24-cssutils, SUNWpython24-simplejson, and SUNWpyyaml24.
All of the other 2.4 bindings packages do not have "24" in the name.
Wouldn't it be better to remove the "24" from these packages for
consistency? Or add "24" to all Python 2.4 bindings?

- Most Python packages are named SUNWpython-foo. However, some
   packages don't follow this: SUNWlibpigment-python,
   SUNWmysql-python, SUNWpyyaml, SUNWsexy-python,
   SUNWcompizconfig-python, SUNWgst-python, SUNWpysqlite, and
SUNWgnome-python-libs. Might it be better to follow more
consistent naming? At least for new packages which are going
into the next OpenSolaris release (pigment, and pyyaml).
