Ghee, you haven't answered my question. Also, note that before launching dbus was moved to gnome-session dtlogin-integration included the code for starting gnome-session with dbus-launch, so perhaps you should look at that. However, I'm still wondering why you're trying to workaround this rather than fix gnome-session. Laca
