I checked out Songbird just now. It seems the translations are .properties files and firefox is needed. There is no general way to merge .desktop and .properties AFAIK as we can create a shell script to merge those. Regarding to the l10n packages, please ask Rachel.Zhang at Sun.COM . Probably I think it's better to handle Songbird by browser l10n. Thanks, fujiwara
