Heya! A while ago I mailed a 'problem' where SUNWgnome-base-libs-root fails to install due to a couple of files being already on the system per SUNWiiimr. (The thread is readable at http://opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=47203&tstart=40#186103 where Laca mentioned he thought it was fixed and would look into it).
The message you get during installation is: INFO: Installing SUNWgnome-base-libs-devel ERROR: failed to install package: The following files are already installed on the system and are being used by another package: /etc/amd64/gtk-2.0/gtk.immodules /etc/gtk-2.0/gtk.immodules Copyright 2007 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All rights reserved. Use is subject to license terms. Installation of was suspended (administration). No changes were made to the system. -- The workaround is to either pkgrm SUNWiimr or install the SUNWgnome-base-libs-root package by hand, however, this breaks the auto-build scripts people might run nightly via cronjobs or something similar. What would be a good way to get around this? If anyone knows a (simple) solution please let me know so I can try it on my test server/desktop. Thanks! Patrick
