Hi Kevin,
A few points:
1.
> Name: SUNWfindutils
I think I'd prefer to call this SUNWgnu-findutils, in
line with SUNWgnu-coreutils, SUNWgnu-diffutils, etc.
What do others think?
2.
> # Relegating to /usr/gnu to avoid name collisions
> %define _prefix %{_basedir}/gnu
Does this mean you are installing everything under
/usr/gnu and nothing in /usr/bin, etc?
If so, that is incorrect - you should install commands
that conflict with existing commands in /usr/bin/ but
with a "g" prefix, eg /usr/bin/gfind and then put a
link to this file at /usr/gnu/bin/find. The same for
manpages.
(configure scripts sometimes support this with options
like --program-prefix=g, etc, but you may still have
to do the links and manpages manually.)
What lib files are you installing?
3.
I thought Luis decided not to provide GNU locate
because "slocate" is being done, and is preferred? If
so, you need you remove it from your Summary, Description
and delete the relevant files after "make install ...".
4.
The Sun-legal preamble for GPL is only for packages
that are GPLv2. We may get different instructions from
them for GPLv3 when they approve it, but for the moment
you should remove the "For the avoidance of doubt..."
paragraph from the copyright file.
