Exactly my point :) Press releases are all about marketing and hype, not the sort of things you want to see in a manpage. IMHO "mashup" is just a buzzword, like "Web 2.0" and other similar terms that you rarely hear any more. Having read the first sentence of that wikipedia article: "In technology, a mashup is a web application that combines data from more than one source into a single integrated tool" I don't even agree that Songbird is a "mashup" at all, because IMHO it's not a web application-- it's a desktop application with a bit of web functionality.
