Let me try rephrase this. cdrecord is an application, wodim is a suite. wodim contains cdrecord and other tools. I have check my /usr/bin in my Solaris machine and I have found: In solaris ----------- cdrecord cdda2wav Not on solaris -------------- devdump cdda2ogg dirsplit icedax isodebug isodump isoinfo isovfy readmult genisoimage Those are 10 tools and functionalities we are trying to make available for users. And as far as I know, there aren't in Solaris. I could be wrong, but I don't have any precise/explicit information to think otherwise.
