This patch is needed to set the audio device permissions so that the "gdm" user can access the audio device when running on the "/dev/console". This is needed so that screen readers, like orca, can access the audio device.
Note that after authentication that logindevperm will reset the audio device permissions as defined in /etc/logindevperm, so the ACL settings do not remain after authentication.
