Terminator no longer works with Python 2.4. Refer to bugster CR #6885253. These patches fix libvte python bindings to be built with Python 2.6, and fixes terminator to use Python 2.6 as well.
I verified that terminator is the only module that uses the vte Python bindings, so no other modules will be affected.
