- drop untyped literals - still allow the short syntax in Turtle etc, mapping to xsd:string - introduce new datatypes for language tagged values, e.g. rdf:string-en, rdf:string-en-US I think untyped literals just complicate code everywhere, even in ontology standards like SKOS where some constraints explicitly require untyped literals, and not xsd:strings.
