Paolo,

Setting the version to something unrelated to the component is confusing 
and mis-communicates.

1/ It's not the components version number
2/ Is it your opinion or are you making a personal commitment?
3/ Components are not fixed to the Jena core release cycle

I can't speak for anyone else but I fully expect, and will contrinute 
to, releases of components more frequently than Jena core, in the same 
way as before.
