Hi Ewelina,
Sorry but we don't have any direct support for SWRL in Jena.
As you say there is the option of SweetRules but none of the Jena team
have any direct involvement in that and I suspect the project is
somewhat moribund.
There is the option of Pellet which plugs into Jena and does, I believe,
offer SWRL support.
Or you could use JenaRules directly.
Time/funding permitting we are interested to standardizing our rule
support around RIF but are unlikely to support SWRL.

Hello,
I work in R&D of the Polish Telecom. We build a prototype to see how to use
SWRL rules for deducing user's location.
We would like to use SWRL with Java application and using Jena library for
managing ontologies, but it seems that it is no support for SWRL syntax.
The opportunity seems using SweetJena to translate SWRL rules into Jena
rules.
However we don't know how to use it and can't find any example how to invoke
appropriate methods.
Could You help us, how to use SweetJena? Maybe it's another alternative to
use SWRL inside Jena?
We will appreciate any tips.
Best Regards,
Ewelina
