The most likely cause is the dbpedia timeout (default: 30s, I think).
ARQ hasn't received anything

so the XML hasn't even started.

Maybe, the result from your query is too big and/or the server times out.
You can try to run the same query without using Jena and just have the
response in a file for inspection.
