*Job Title* *Web Developer * *Experience Level* *7+years * *Location* *Seattle, WA*** *Start Date* *Immediate *** *Duration* *6+ Months * * * * *** *No. of Positions* *2* *Job Description* Job Roles / Responsibilities: Ø The UI-Web developer will analyze, design and develop the web application. Develop interactive UI application using AJAX libraries and frameworks (YUI, DOJO, JQuery and Prototype etc), HTML, JavaScript, CSS, web 2.0 techniques, MVC pattern and JS. Ø Demonstrate the experienced in understanding the software development methodologies and best practices in various languages/technologies. Ø Highly motivated, very creative and interact with peers in building interfaces utilized by other developers. Ø Understanding of web services technologies such as SOAP, REST, HTTP, WSDL and XSD is preferred. Ø The Web developer will take mockups created by the UI designer and transfer them to the webpages using HTML. Also web developer will call on web services which calculate the logic related to shipping of items and render them on the frontend. Required: - Experience in UNIX, Web dev technologies – HTML, CSS and Web 2.0 - High proficiency in JS : a significant part of the work will be creating UI widgets using JS. - Experience in AJAX libraries and frameworks (preferably JQUERY). - Experience in at least one MVC pattern, like struts/Spring. - Understanding of web services. Preferred: - TOMCAT experience strongly preferred - Selenium experience preferred as web developer will need to interact with testing team - Agile experience preferred.
