Thanks for your time and kind reply. I hope i got a good startup for
Jenkins with your response.

I do have some couple of questions,

In my point 1. i have asked about checkout of files to a desired
location. But the perforce plugin doesn't seem to be supporting this
feature. It directly maps only to the working directory.
In #5, i have asked about contacting internal API's for logging
defects in defect tracker. Right now i have downloaded the .war file
of Jenkins and deployed in app server. Is it possible for me to extend
the source code and my own features on unit test failures?
