Hi all,

I am looking at the new Jenkins Validated Merge plugin from Cloudbees
(http://jenkins-enterprise.cloudbees.com/docs/user-guide-bundle/validated-merge-sect-tutorial.html)
and I am puzzled on one feature:
"Unlike Gerrit+Jenkins integration, in which each commit is separately built
and tested, the validated merge in Jenkins only checks the tip of the ref. So
you can split your change into several logically separated pieces, without
paying the penalty of more build time"

If you have a build that includes 5 commits by 5 different people, how can the
validated merge plugin understand "who broke what" ?

Luca.
