Note that there is a HTML Publisher Plugin to publish any directory as
report linked via build action. It seems to me that your usecase can be
satisfied using this plugin and any tool to generate the report invoked
from buildstep.
Btw.: I have never used log parser but I believe attaching new build
action is cleaner approach than hacking the console log, if you have a
choice.
