Hello Abeer, I'm the current maintainer and I agree I've not been very responsive lately. Sorry about that. I hope to be able to spend a bit more time in ~2 weeks to finish/close the open things here and there.
But for the good of that plugin and the project, I would welcome your help. The more the merrier :-). I've just added you as a co-maintainer, you should have received a GitHub invitation you must accept to enable it. Please keep using a PR model and ping me there, and feel eventually free to merge after some days (generally 2 or 3 is standard practice for standard things, possibly a bit more or less depending on the complexity of the PR, obviously).
