If that feature would exist already it would have saved me a lot of time yesterday. I added CIFS publishing to a lot of existing jobs and it was a real mess to write all the complex paths by hand. My current task is to move from years old CruiseControl to Jenkins, and all jobs are different. Most of our jobs are triggering legacy native build stuff, so I cannot use any variables.
Sad to see that you close things so eagerly before discussing with the RFE author. In fact, this feature would have saved me hours. And I don't think I am the only one.
