It defines a base configuration and other common stuff so that Jenkins X users follow the JX flow to deliver their images What is requested: It is possible to define multiple plugin sources in Custom WAR Packager Users can override versions defined in the base version. In such case CWP should show warnings Nice2Have: detect incompatible plugins somehow How it could be implemented?
