Stop Jenkins
Go to your Jenkins Plugin directory - JENKINS_HOME/plugins.
Remove the git.* and git-client.*
Download:
http://mirrors.karan.org/jenkins/plugins/git/1.2.0/
http://mirrors.karan.org/jenkins/plugins/git-client/1.0.3/
Copy *.hpi to JENKINS_HOME/plugins and Downgrade to these plugins.
Start Jenkins.
Works fine at that point.
