What a the filesystem permissions for your temp directory? I see that a temp file is created and should be deleted. But, if the deletion fails the flag "delete on exit" is set. So to test, could you restart the jenkins and see if the files get cleaned up, when the JVM exits?

This would help to diagnose if there is an exception somewhere in between (preventing that the actual cleanup is performed) or if the issue is related to permissions.
