We are experiencing the same issue:

java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to serialize com.tikal.jenkins.plugins.multijob.MultiJobBuild#subBuilds for class com.tikal.jenkins.plugins.multijob.MultiJobBuild
Is the any workaround or possible solution for this. We run in a continuous deployment environment and this keeps causing false failures in our tests (at least 3 - 4 a day).
Note we are current running Jenkins MultiJob Plugin version 1.9 on Jenkins Version 1.480.3
