Sorry for the silence - it's been vacation time at the office, but I now had a chance to talk to our developers and we have dicussed you issue.
Our first estimate is that we recon that we could produce a plugin that does what you are asking for in about two working days (15 hrs).
If you choose to collaborate with us, and want us to implement such a plugin, it will be Open Source, released to the community, available for everyone, installable from the "manage jenkins" menu on your own Jenkins server and it will include 12 months full warranty on the implemented and agreed features.
