What's the resolution here? This bug is now nearly 14 months old, and is still a blocker for us. I'd rather not have to fork this plugin and maintain my own internal version, but if it comes to it that's what I'll have to do, since the response to issues posted here leaves a lot to be desired.
Maybe I'll fork it and post as its own new plugin.
