Issue Type: Improvement Improvement
Assignee: Nicolas De Loof
Components: git
Created: 07/Mar/14 1:49 PM
Description:

by default git clone repository with all branches that are in the repo. Since jenkins normally wipes and cleans out workspace and then clone git repo again it would be great to minimize time required for cloning particular branch by not fetching all other branches. This potentially could speed up clone time significanlty especially on large and long-living git repos without any side-effects.
And it seems to be pretty easy to implement.
