Change By: Onno van der Straaten (14/May/14 7:32 AM)
Description: After installing RVM plugin Jenkins will crash. After some time or immediately by navigating to manage plugins screen.

Log file shows that Jenkins takes memory until out of memory.

Because Manage PLugins no longer works, I deinstalled by removing plugin files/folders. This leaves Jenkins in working but somewhat corrupted state. Corrupted because log file shows that Jenkins keeps looking for plugins that no longer exist.
I don't think there is a (documented) way to really manually deinstall plugins. If a plugin crashes your Jenkins, you are basically screwed, it looks like.

I am using Jenkins ThinBackup plugin which has restore functionality but this does not seem to really restore to previous configuration. Errors in log remain. Also a bug but of course not related to this.
