Would like to see support for script git-new-workdir. We have a couple of git projects that are rather large (10GB-ish).
We support multiple platforms and architectures with the configuration-matrix plugin and because of the way this plugin checks out files, this means that the Jenkins project itself is 10GB, PLUS 10GB for each of the sub build directories.
In addition, we have multiple Jenkins projects of the same git project to build different branches (we do this because we want to separate the error emails and we consider each 'branch' a distinct product).
If there was support for new-workdir, we could eliminate a large chunk of this duplicated disk usage.
