What I can say is that we have two branches, master and live, and two jobs for DEV and PROD environment. The DEV job is triggered by an SCM hook. The PROD job is triggered manually. Changes get "cherry-picked" from master to live branch. When triggering the PROD job with v2.2.5 of the plugin Jenkins does not show the recent changes for the job. When rolling back to the previous version of the GIT plugin the changes appear in Jenkins just as normal.
