Can confirm that reverting the commit mentioned by @colonelcoder indeed fixes the problem:

Providing a better fix (rather than just plain reverting) proves to be difficult as the tests for 0.0.8 don't pass in my environment. Also, you need JDK6 in order to compile it. @fcamblor: if you like I can create a PR for the revert though
