It seems that this has been resolved in February (possibly config form) and October (possibly build form) this year in the 2014-02-14 and 2014-10-01 security patches.
I'm resolving this as duplicate (to the hidden SECURITY-138 and SECURITY-93); if you discover additional locations where passwords are displayed in plain text, please file new issues for those (preferably on the SECURITY project in this tracker, so the reports don't get overlooked as easily).
