I want to template a maven build job. The build job itself would contain string variables with the SVN paths. The template has SVN URLs defined with the variables in the build job. It also contains several execute shell blocks and groovy blocks. With this setup I cannot define the template job in the build job as "use builders from another project." Jenkins complains that the template is not buildable.
Setting the template as "Use SCM from another project" works for SVN but not the other items I need. What am I missing?
