When I ssh from the bash prompt ssh user\$@hostname all is well.
But when performed from Jenkins I get an invalid username message on the remote host. I have read https://github.com/jenkinsci/ssh-slaves-plugin/blob/master/doc/TROUBLESHOOTING.md and associated pages.
