Well, I tried to decipher this and came to the conclusion that either jetty is booted up with a strange fellow or there is a tomcat-like thingy serving the .war that is not allowed to poke around in desired directories. Mayhaps fix permissions, check your basic UNIX-stuff and try, try again...
