For SMOKNDAV23 - I have same steering wheel issue, so am hopeful somebody
writes in solving yours! I no expert, but after years of frustration over the
center console issue, I just disconnected the choke wire at the choke &
pulled the thing out. It goes back in fairly easily and doesn't really affect
the adjustment of the choke. (I can't wait to hear the reaction of some of
the more professional mechs out there!)
