There are a couple of nice and easy currency conversions sites on the net.
Two that I have used are;

http://www.oanda.com/ and

http://www.xe.net/ucc/ (I recommend this one for ease of use.)

As I am starting to do some more consulting work again I hope I'll be using
these conversion pages more. Starting with a trip to Slovakia next month,
any Jensen owners over there? I doubt it. I did see a couple of interesting
old Tatra's last time over. Trabants are almost all gone now.

Most interesting 'find' I've come across was in Egypt. My business friends
there knew I was interested in old cars and they did some clandestine
searching for old cars. They came to me with the information that they had
located a 1929 Rolls Royce that had been owned by King Farouk before he was
forced to leave Egypt. I did not go to see the car, though they wanted me
to see it, located in an old garage building in Alexandria, and the owner
wants to sell. The difficulty is that the government of Egypt claims all of
the former king's estate to be theirs, and their antiquities law would not
allow it to be removed from the country anyway. Interesting story anyway.
If I get back I may try to take some pictures anyway.

Anybody else discovered anything interesting out there?
