Yes, I have taken pains to secrete the copy of Haggard behind some other
volumes in the library to ensure that my SWMBO never reads 'She' and realises
the true nature of the character (or one of them) whose cognomen she
cheerfully accepts. She seems at peace with being compared to Hilda, and I
even gifted her a public TV sourced sweatshirt with 'SWMBO' (written out) on
it.
